Me in a Nutshell

You may have heard it said, "You can take the girl out of Texas, but you'll never take Texas out of the girl." I am living proof of that. Born and raised on the South Plains of Texas, I proudly earned my degree in design communication at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. I have since made Tennessee my home, and I absolutely love the Volunteer state. I am a slave to good Tex-Mex, and Shiner Bock beer and I will drive for miles to find brisket and ranch style beans like the ones Dad made back home.

Football is like a religion in our home. If the Titans, Red Raiders, or Volunteers are playing, you can bet we are at the game, watching it on TV, or at least talking about it.

My day job is as a graphic designer, web designer, and all around marketing go-to girl, but my real job is mom to my son, Ridley, and wife and best friend to my husband, Russ. I also bluelight as zookeeper to our three cats, and two dogs.
